Run any internet search containing the word "woman" and you will very likely find articles, photographs or videos about beauty, appearance or even sexual appeal. Alongside that reality there are also results about the fight for gender equality and for making women more visible. There is still ground to cover when it comes to women's professional development and entrepreneurship, and on top of that sits the digital gender gap.
Networking... why for women?
That is why, at Fundación Siglo22, we want to build women's networking networks, in order to give women visibility and empower them through the use of ICT. We do so by drawing on the current experience of women online and on networking methodology to build a mutual support network.
