TENDER, funded by the Erasmus+ programme, aims to create more opportunities for people with a disability who are in, or want to enter, the labour market. It began in September 2019 and its main output is a tool that helps intermediary organisations match people with disabilities looking for work to organisations looking to hire.

The first step was to agree on the parts that make up the application. Each partner country analysed the situation of people with disabilities in its own labour market, and together they agreed on the needs involved and on which filters the application should offer to meet them.

TENDER Web App

The TENDER Web App matches labour demand with the supply of people with disabilities or with difficulties entering the labour market (older people, for example). The app is freely available and the profiles it holds can easily be matched to the vacancies of organisations looking to hire.

Results

TENDER Web application: a web application that gives the target group visibility through a personal profile. It is public and free on iOS and Android. The matching is generated by the algorithms built into the app.
TENDER methodology and handbook: the TENDER methodology helps intermediaries draw up a vacancy profile that fits the needs the target group may have. A handbook will set out the methodology and explain how to use the app, together with an instructional video. The handbook builds on research begun while preparing the project, based on interviews with experts in the employability of people with disabilities.
Feasibility study: a feasibility study and business plan. The application will be tested by the project lead and another partner organisation for the purposes of the study, which will also cover finances and future funding and sponsorship.
