Film Making is a European project funded by the Erasmus+ programme that began in November 2021. Its aims include creating a set of video production resources for young people, and supporting youth educators in delivering video production training through in-service training and a handbook.
Finally, the project aims to provide collaborative virtual learning environments where the project's outputs and educational resources can be shared and used, and to gain recognition for the videos made by the people taking part.
The project
The project includes a series of events for both young people and educators: film festivals in each partner country with 120 participants, plus a masterclass for 18 young creators at risk of social exclusion.
Results
- Video production resources: a set of video production resources to build young people's employability and professional development around four strands: advertising, storytelling, business development and personal branding.
- In-service training for teachers: a training programme for youth educators on video production and its use for young people's professional development, with an accompanying handbook.
- E-learning portal: an e-learning environment bringing together the project's outputs in every language of the consortium.
